Nadia Alexis Alta Drost

Nadia Alexis Alta Drost died on July 3,  2014.  Nadia was born in Charlotte, NC on December 13, 1994 to Donna DeYoung Banck and Hans Drost.

Her mother and father, her brothers, Carsten Banck, Gunner Drost and Lucas Dison, survive Nadia.  Her grandmothers, Carolyn  DeYoung and Seni Santiago, and her great grandmother, Evelyn Marlow, also survive her.   She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nadia was a kind, loving, spirited girl who loved her family and friends.  She also loved animals, especially her horses and dogs, and the beach.   Nadia was an accomplished rider and liked to compete in horse shows. 

One of Nadia’s favorite prayers was the Serenity Prayer.  “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”

A memorial service for Nadia will be held at Noon on Monday, July 14, at Forest Hill Church, 7224 Park Road, Charlotte, NC.
