She attended Stephens-Lee High School and was a very active participant and graduate of the 1967 class of South French Broad High School.
Ann retired from General Motors Acceptance Corporation and was employed part-time with Alldergate Retirement Home. She was a former member of Berry Temple United Methodist in Asheville, and was currently attending Simpson and Gallespie Methodist in Charlotte, NC.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her daughters, Tracie Hemphill of the home, Renatta Y. Mial (Adam) of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Lee O. Woods of Mt. Vernon, NY, Clifford and James, both of Asheville; sisters, Lydia of Lowell, NC and Cynthia of Asheville; grandchildren, Travyn, DeAndre, Travor, Demarco and Davione; godson, Jerick; special niece, Nannette and her friends and cousin, Jacqueline and Denise; the Class of 1967 and "Da Club" members, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ann donated her body to Science; therefore, a celebration of her life is impending.
