Marion Andrea Hamilton "Ginger" Duncan, of Charlotte, died October 24, 2014.  Daughter of the late Andrew Robinson and Marion Hinson Hamilton, she was born in Lancaster, SC.

She was a long-time member of Christ Church and served as Lay Eucharist Minister, Usher, and on the Altar Guild where her favorite volunteer activity was directing weddings. She had many interests including tennis, gardening, cooking, and painting.  She loved playing bridge, and playing board games with her grandsons.  She was a voracious reader and enjoyed her book and dinner clubs.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Elizabeth; her son, Ian Thomas and his wife, Katherine Chamberlain and their sons, Thomas and Henry; her brother, Andrew Robinson Hamilton and his wife, Bonnie Baker; her sister, Lucy Irene and her husband, Charles Herrick Lewis; and a large extended family and a group of wonderful friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, at 3pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 1412 Providence Rd., with a reception to follow at the church.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
