Elizabeth "Betsy" Everett Piver was born on August 18, 1932 in Laurinburg, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Lawrence Shaw Everett and Hattie Wall Bryant Everett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Piver. They were long-time residents of Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Piver passed away on October 20, 2014 at the age of 82.
She spent her career in Charlotte with Stewart and Everett Theatres and TF Investment Associates.
Mrs. Piver is survived by her nephews, Lawrence S. Everett III, George T. Everett, Jack G. Ashby Jr.; her nieces, Harriet Ashby Bonds, Cheryl E. Lyons. She is also survived by her brother-in-laws, Forrest Lee Piver, E. Snow Piver and wife Dorothy; sister-in-laws, Betty Ann Piver Sheppard and Mary Neil Piver Bowden.
A memorial service is planned in Wilmington, NC where her beloved husband, Don, was buried. Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
