She was born on July 1, 1930, in Manchester, the daughter of Donat and Cecile (St. Cyr) Soucy. She lived in Manchester and Londonderry most of her life. A graduate of Manchester High School Central, Class of 1948, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis, by her two handicapped children, William and Denise, and by her older brother, Roger Soucy.
Pauline enjoyed reading, crafting, and was an accomplished painter. She was an active communicant at St. Jude's Parish in Londonderry where she belonged to the Women's Guild, and especially enjoyed craft making for their annual Holiday Craft Fair. Her immediate family includes her loving and devoted daughter, Diane Provencher; grandson, Christian Provencher; granddaughter, Aimee Patrum and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Zechariah and Leah Patrum; all of Charlotte; and brothers, Robert Soucy and his wife, Cecile of Manchester, NH; and Donald Soucy and his wife, Mary of Largo, FL. She also had a large extended family including many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
