James Russell Wolfe, 78, of Charlotte, NC passed away at his home on Saturday, January 11, 2014.
He was born in Indian Land, SC on October 23, 1935, to Lucille Ashley Wolfe and the late James Richard Wolfe, Jr.
Jim worked with Kimbrell's Furniture Distributing Company until his retirement. Jim is survived by his mother, and sister, Janie Wolfe Rea and husband, Ralph. He is also survived by two nieces, Kelly Rea Chiseck and husband, Billy and their children Isabel, Avery & Olivia, and Ashley Rea Bolick and husband Brett and their children, Kinsey and Ethan. One uncle, Walter H. Wolfe and several cousins all of the Charlotte area.
Jim was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service to celebrate his life was held at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church cemetery on Hwy. 160, Indian Land, SC, on Monday, January 20th at 2:00 PM. All were invited to come, dress casual and warm. Rev. Elaine Treece will conduct the service.
