William Clark

William L. Clark, 90, a longtime former resident of Bethesda, MD., died peacefully at Southminster in Charlotte, N.C., on Jan. 30, 2014, after a brief illness.

Mr. Clark was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., on Sept. 20, 1923, to the late Elizabeth Weilein and William Everett Clark.

Mr. Clark is survived by his four daughters, Madia Barber of Charlotte, Peggy Clark, Amy Hitt and Ann Espuelas all of Washington DC.  He also leaves eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2014, at Christ Church in Charlotte, N.C. 1412 Providence Rd.
